I feel like the way you use each sound in this piece is stunning, it really adds to the more laid back feeling that music in 5/4 can have. Speaking of 5/4, this piece uses it very well, it didn't sound like you were trying to force a 4/4 melody into 5/4 at all (which is a trap I find that I fit into when writing in time signatures other than 4/4). The buildups to the drops are done very well, and really sell the feeling of euphoria that the drops themselves convey.

There are a couple things holding me back from giving this a full 5 stars, and that would be that the two drops are a bit too similar. I also feel like I heard a bit of clipping in the second drop, but I'm not too sure if that's what it was.

Overall, this is a fantastic song with only a few minor hiccups. This definitely earned a place in my playlist!

The composition and structure here are all really good. Every sound is well crafted, and every melody, percussive hit, and sample is well placed. What would make this an even greater song is if there was more of a dynamic range to it. Make the more intense sections louder and the calmer sections a bit softer. I find that having that bit of dynamic variation helps to make an already great idea even better.

Good shout dude! Nice one :)

It's a really nice and chill song. The melodies and chords are pretty good. I feel like you have some very good foundations for the piece here, but it's laking a bit of mastering that would make this stand out in a big way.

One thing you could do to improve is to allow each of your samples to swell in an out of each note if they're parts of the background bits. This would help make it sound a little less like you just plopped notes into a DAW at random and more like your musical intent behind each note in the song.

I know that you're going for some orchestral and cinematic stuff here, but I feel like some soft pads sitting on a drone in the background would be good for this. They shouldn't be too loud, as that might take away from the current vibe of the piece, but just a little to spice it up and give it some character.

Overall, this is a good piece that if just a couple things were added could become great!

P.S. If you're wondering how to get your music to be louder, you can but compressors/limiters on everything to get it to be the same general volume as other people's music.

I have a crippling addiction to math, help!
